Indeed, the darling of the ever-expanding pickleball universe is a 15-year-old from Florida who inadvertently picked up the sport at age 10.

And as Anna Leigh Waters, the youngest pickleball champ in the country and current No. 1 women's singles player in the world, tells Insider, she's just getting warmed up.
